A heavily bearded and sun-kissed face, surrounded by falls of tightly curled hair, with piercing green eyes is obscured by a grim helm of bone. And though the bright green of his deep-set eyes is striking it isn't the first thing that might catch an onlooker's attention. The fellow before you is built like the mountains, mightily muscled and larger than life standing at what could only be ventured as somewhere near seven feet in height. Lines of laughter and mirth are easily discerned around eyes and mouth and the reason is never left to wonder for long. Gaelen often displays a wide grin of dazzling teeth and a good-natured attitude to all of those around him.
Eschewing full armour for a simple plated-leather skirt and a single, thick leather harness wrapped around his waist and over one shoulder he also dons the war-sandals favoured by the fighting troops of Ethucan wrapped up to mid-thigh. Another piece of Ethucan equipment favoured by the hulking warrior is a massive shield with a faded scene on the front. Though the paint is worn in places and the image marred by the countless cycles of battle it is a well-cared for shield and holds sturdy. Upon his hip, in a sling tailored to allow a quick draw, is an axe of unique design and quality. The arm-length haft is studded along two-thirds of its length and bent slightly away from the wielder. The heavy half-moon blade is sharpened to a wicked edge and is balanced across the haft by a thick spike. A bright enchanted gem is embedded just above the grip of black bos-leather.
