Before you see anything, you hear a rhythmic tap...tap...tap...
As the tapping gets closer, a hooded figure slowly shuffles into view. A gnarled staff, topped with a wavering light, raps a steady tattoo as the figure draws near. The closer the figure gets, the more defined the figure becomes. The crooked angles of the staff reflect the shape of the one who wields it. As the figure approaches, the glowing orb at the pinnacle of the staff reveals the glow of a small living flame contained within it. As the figure draws closer, the soft light from the orb illuminates the Dark Robes being worn. At first glance, it appears that the robes are black in color, but as the light from the orb intensifies, a tint of deep red can be seen. His robes are held cinched at his waist by a thick, high-quality length of rope. The ends of the rope dangle freely down his left side, each end capped in silver. A dark, plum-colored Bag of Powder bounces against his left hip as it suspends from the rope belt. Upon a closer inspection, a Blade and Staff can be seen embroidered on the pouch.
The hand gripping the twisted staff appears to be thin and sinewy, yet clutches the staff firmly. His bent posture conceals his true height, placing the top of his head a fair length below the apex of the glowing orb of his staff. His facial features are obscured and partially hidden by the depths of the cowl of his Dark Robes. Aside from the hand gripping the staff, and his bent posture, the Dark Robes effectively conceal his remaining limbs. As his head swivels from side to side, the flames of his staff briefly reflect on his eyes, revealing a sharp, penetrating gaze. A finely made pack, matching the same color of his robes, is strapped to his back and can be seen as he moves past.
As he walks by, you hear a soft, light-hearted and rhythmic hum emanating from the depths of the cowl...
