Lord Ba-Ku
	Long years of leading the Alliance of Valornian Explorers have etched lines of wisdom and strength into Ba-Ku’s face. That same leadership has left deep laugh lines around his mouth, and his eyes look accustomed to merriment. The many years surveying the land under the hot Valornian sun have also given them a slight squint. A strip of leather crosses his forehead to keep his shoulder length brown hair out of his ale mug. The leather strip has had an asymmetrical five-pointed star branded into it, the familiar symbol of his guild. He’s acquired a massive warrior build hardened from many years of fighting and mug lifting. His armor always seems ill equipped to contain so many muscles since it bulges and buckles slightly. A scar crosses his body here and there where something somehow slipped past his considerable defenses. When attired for war, Ba-Ku strikes as an imposing figure. A much dented helm protects his chiseled features. The briefest glimpse of his steely blue eyes can be seen through the helm slit when he surveys his battlegrounds. He bears a heavy shield. It has been polished to a high sheen. Inlaid in the shield itself with the blackest obsidian is a star that matches the one on the leather strip on his brow. He carries a sword that looks to be a short sword, but when one takes into account Ba-Ku’s size, anyone else hefting it would wield it as a great sword. Yet for all his might, more often than not he’s to be found laughing at stories being told in the local inn. The years of battle fall from his face and he noticeably relaxes when he’s seen playing with a ring on his finger given to him, he says, by an “oh so special rogue”.
