Derema "stands tall" with pride for woman who is barely 5'
tall. She wears her ebony hair well past her shoulders. Yet most days
she has it tied close to her head and held in place with a hand carved wooden comb before it disappears under her cap. If one looks closely they'll notice a streak of gray has started to run down through it.
Most folks are drawn to her bright warm smile and held there by
the unusual color of her eyes. Some claim her eyes to be green and yet
other would say the are most surely blue. But all agree that once she
has your gaze you will find it hard to look away.
She wears a chain around her neck with blue and
orange crystals hanging from it. Both precious gifts from the gods. A larger chain ties around her waist holding two small pieces of string and an assortment of rings given over the years. They jingle with each step she takes.She wears a heart shaped ring on her ring finger given by someone dear to her, a golden ring on her pinkie given by her student and a friendship ring on her middle finger given by a dear friend.
